So I've been posting these 'updates on the Kaitou Kid message board' for a while now and uh... I'm running out of ideas.... so ducks

And to be quite serious, do they just use that kind of terminology on purpose or something? Because... seriously. They're begging for the jokes.

Well, they were working within an established "a young girl's (something relevant)" structure for the attack speeches, and I can't think of a way to apply that to Karen's first season powers that doesn't come out at least vaguely unfortunate. The original fansub group decided to creatively translate it as "a young girl's outpourings," which only relates to water in a vague way and still ends up sounding rather menstrual.

Poor Karen just can't win, can she? Even Ami and Michiru came out better of in the Sailor Moon scripts.
