Ok, so I love the show Firefly, and when I first saw the last episode, Objects in Space, I thought it was really cool how the bounty hunter in it was named Jubal Early. That is the same name as my dog, whom we named after an ancestor of ours that was a general in the Civil War.
Well, come to find out, the bounty hunter in the show is named after the same man, who happens to be Nathan Fillion's ancestor as well. SO, I share a common ancestor with the man who plays Mal in Firefly. That is fucking sweet.
