He looks bored, the rodent invasion losing it's humor rather quickly after being bitten and finding that heel stomping the little bastards would only make more little bastards. The man had retreated to his quarters, discovered that the critters could not follow him inside and immediately ( Read more... )

Burnin'. M'hawk took out a rabbit. He's pretty dang happy with himself, I think.

You got a hawk? Heh, I hear they're hard to train. Good hunters though.

[Approval + 1]

What're you doin' with the corpse?

Ach, you waste a good skin. Assumin' it didn't get torn up when your buddy took it down.

...And I kinda get what you're sayin' with that. I had a dog back home.

Nah, he tore into him pretty good. Think he's just gettin' some frustration out. Probably upset he couldn't get th' mice.

Dogs're real good t'have 'round, I hear.

Mm, you could say that. Dingo-dog. Just as much of a mutt as me. Found the damn thing half starved, gave it some scraps and it followed along after.

Wouldn't leave.

[He won't admit out loud to missing the hound at his side.]

Same thing with Red. Found him with a broken wing. Took him home, patched him up, taught him t'fly...he stuck 'round after that. Kept tryin' t'get him t'go 'n well...it's been 10 years now?

Red's a real good judge o'character. He's real good at knowin' stuff. So I think it's that. Instinct 'n all.

I've been watching humans for a long time. Wouldn't be a bad perk to have in the world I'm from. Then again, most people are scumbags and hardly worth the time.

Where ya from, exactly?
