nothing insanely powerful, like full-form shape-shifting.
but enough to teleport (SHORT distances), levitate (but not fly like superman, high or for long distances), phase through matter (again, limited to less-dense and not-too-thick objects), make force fields, throw objects/people (to a limited degree, say 200 pounds or so), deform objects (soften/bend metal, again within reason), manipulate light (to temporarily blind opponents), manipulate time (also for short periods, say 10-30 seconds) and the like.
MAYBE some limited healing, like flesh/bone mending & such, "sucking out" cancer/bullets/etc. not that i expect cancer to come up, but as an example.
complicated and potentially powerful, yes.
but noticed that i have left delving into minds for another character.
no mind-control, illusions, transmutation, ESP or anything of the like for my "psychic".
also, he will probably be a monk-type fighter, with the meditation & the aikido/jiu jitsu (so as to "defend himself while also protecting his attacker from injury"). yes, he's going to be torn between a degree of non-violence/necessary violence and being a superhero. and he'll have throwing knives & a colt walker revolver, cuz they're cool (both of them).
and he's gonna wear a bowler. OH YEAH! clockwork orange, baby!
