Me & The Inner Geek
A few things:
- I went to a comic book store for the first time in, wow, years, a few weeks ago. Pretty much the same, except I'm not exactly interested in the vast majority of things. When I went through all my old graphic novels back in Clarksville, at least half of them could not hold my interest. Is this maturity.
(The answer is no, if you were wondering. I still could leave without Hellboy, Starman, Sandman, and Swamp Thing.)
- My new job rocks.
- I am finally -- FINALLY -- gonna get to watch at least the beginning of the first season of Heroes. Considering that nearly everyone that watches that show is sure that I'd love it, I think it's about time I get around to it. Ron's gonna rock out with me this weekend, and he's bringing his DVDs.
- I think I'm gonna try to host an online GURPs game for beginners, much like the nights Ryan and his mountain-folk buds sponsored with the White Wolf franchise. Anyone interested, please contact me. As of yet, my Dragon*Con grouplist has proved fruitless.
- I really miss my Cerebus comics.
