I have to admit, as apathetic and desensitized as I'm known to be, that I'm really torn inside to see the damage that is being done to Lebanon. I remember just how recently the country pushed Syria out and began to rebuild.
I'm also tired of being labelled an Anti-semite for saying Israel's operations in southern Lebanon are an act of terror and an atrocity in their own right.
Israel has a right to exist, but such rights should extend to the Palestinians who traditionally call that area home as well? Well, I guess they can't seeing as Israel has bulldozed a lot of homes along the Gaza and West Bank to create security zones free of Hamas militant positions.
