 Colonel Robert L. Howard. He was my battalion commander in the Military Police and when I was attached to the band at VII Corps headquarters in Stuttgart. I refused to reenlist unless he did it. He did. He used to sneak up on us to test our security on post. We called him The Skull. RIP Colonel.
