Hear me out on this:
Neither the left nor the right wants illegal aliens to become citizens.
I want them to become citizens.
You don't like it when Hitler made calling someone a Jew tantamount to calling them a devil, but you are OK when the word RACIST is used to squelch honest discourse in the same way.
Everyone pretty much knows that you can hide the true nature of something just by supplanting the proper term for it with a friendlier, less accurate term. Nowhere is this more clear than the pathetic way dishonest people agree to use the term "undocumented immigrant". Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist". You should be ashamed of yourself.
If you call an Illegal alien anything other than that, you are a liar. A dishonest person. You shouldn't be trusted in important situations OR little things, because you lack the integrity to admit how things are. How are you supposed to debate any issue effectively when you walk in to the discussion and immediately identify yourselves as dishonest and unreasonable?
These people are human beings and if you actually wanted to help them become legal citizens, you would abstain from dishonest leftist rhetoric. It may make you feel good at the time but it destroys your credibility.
The leadership if the political left doesn't want these people to become citizens, then they would cease to be a political football. The right doesn't want them to be citizens because then they could complain about substandard job pay and conditions.
Neither party wants them to be legal. Neither party wants them to be legal. Neither party wants them to be legal. Got it?
Those 536 people that we keep sending to Washington don't care about you or them. They don't give a rats ass. They just keep milking it to their advantage. It's a wonderful distraction they can roll out at any time to obfuscate their real goals.
They absolutely know that most of their constituencies are very stupid.
I think they're right.
