Lamorak is back at the stables, giving his horse some much needed attention. He's finally beginning to feel like himself again, more or less, and he might even be smiling absently as he runs a brush through his horse's mane. Feel free to come bother him.

Cyrano has been trying to force himself out more - he's been locked up in his room, working on treaties that discuss time-travel and multiple dimensions. Those things have been on his mind.

This day, however, he does step out, and his idle foot steps take him to the stables. "Morbleu! And I did not even know there were horses here."

T: And if you want a Gwen to come along, for awkward purposes or what not, just say so. XD

He looks up with a smile. "Mine came with me, but I think some are native."

T: As you like!

"Is that so? Tudieu, I've not seen or ridden in over half a year, en vérité." He pauses, and bows. "Cyrano de Bergerac, Monsieur."

A small half bow in return. "Sir Lamorak de Galis, formerly of Wales. Then Camelot."

Cyrano nods, making a mental note of this. "A knight of King Arthur's, then." He pauses. "And the son of King Pellinore."

He smiles. "Indeed. I am flattered, sir, to be so known."

Cyrano smiles back - it's interesting, for once, that he not be the object of curiosity, but the subject of it. He's also realizing that this is the first time that he meets someone who is from earlier than him in Earth's time.

"It would be hard to ignore the work of a fellow poet such as Monsieur de Béroul," Cyrano replies with a grin.

"Beroul?" he asks, anglicizing it a bit. "I'm afraid I don't know him."

"He was a French poet - a troubadour, if you will. He sung the tale of Tristan."

"Ah. Tristan I do know. The only bloody knight who doesn't seem to be here."

"Is that so?" Cyrano frowns. "All this time here, and you are the first of your order to have crossed my path."

"Truly? You have either awful or exceptional luck, depending on how you see it."

Cyrano laughs, amused. "I suppose so. How do you see it?"

"Most likely exceptional, given the proportion of Orkneys about. Though how you've avoided Kay, I'll never know."

"I do not socialize as much as I should, perhaps. Then they are all.. here?"

"Most. Not all, perhaps."
