A few assorted links

There will be a road trip to this place sometime in the near future.  I read about this place in a book on Walmart, and I decided that I have to go here sometime before I die.  Jungle Jim's International Market.  It should be noted that the monorail is not currently operational, and tours take between 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  If I lived closer, this is where I would buy groceries.

As some of you know, I'm thinking about brewing again.  But, how could I take something like brewing to a level that most would call foolish, or insane, or at least ill-advised?  How about brewing in a pumpkin?  While the idea of using a pumpkin as a brew kettle seems pointlessly complex, as a primary fermenter, it seems reasonable (in an insane what were they thinking kind of way).  I'm thinking of ways to seal the pumpkin somewhat.  I'll talk more about it in October.

A constitutional amendment to mandate affordable health care in Michigan? Sure, why not?  Since we put in that one amendment to keep the gays from marrying, which would naturally lead to the destruction of every hetro marriage back in '04, I see no reason why we can't put this one in as well.  And probably one that protects the state flag from burning just to be safe.  Seriously, I like the idea.  I just wish people wouldn't amend constitutions as often as they get amended.  And yes, I realize that they don't get amended all that often.
