Downloading the PDF! Although I'm intrigued by the Genetic Sexual Attraction phenomenon, I must admit I'm normally a bit "meh" about AUs where Sam & Dean didn't grow up together, but I love your stuff so you got me. I'm sure I will love this too :D

Also, I have a very vague memory of possible having seen that Alan Rickman movie when I was, like, 12 or something. Which probably explains a lot.

Okay I read it!! That was great! And I guess I had the wrong impression about how much the boys' growing up together/apart would factor in. I mean, they did grow up together until Dean was 16, so, formative years and all that ;)

I was starting to expect an unhappy ending, wherein Dean would move to London, leaving Sam to get over him and move on. I guess for some that *would* constitute a happy ending of sorts??? Like, in terms of emotional health? But come on, this is Sam & Dean, so who needs emotional health?

I was impressed by how this was sooo AU that it could be seen as Original Fic if someone outside of fandom ever stumbled upon it, but you included all sorts of canon characterization stuff, and timeline hints and whatnot, that it really felt like Our Boys. Like, Sam's obsessiveness and Dean's always wanting to make his family happy.

Ooh! I usually don't like fic where there's Sam and/or Dean paired but anyone except for each other, because they're my OTP, but I just love your writing, so I'm going to read it. Not right away, but eventually, for sure! I'm sure it will be brilliant.
