Summary: ABC Board decided they needed to change the demographic and I'm guessing budget, they kept the casual, pulled the girl from their ABC3 effort and fired Jung to make payroll.

Having flirted the edge of working for The Good Game in the past, I can assure you they didn't really have a production budget to start with.

No, what I'm saying is that there are production budgets and there are production budgets, and The Good Game is on the very, very low end of the scale.

Here's an analogy, why did Fox cancel Firefly? It sure as hell wasn't broke.
TV executives operate on a logic all of their own ;) Don't worry that you don't understand, that just means you're a normal human being. And the ABC has been doing boneheaded manuvures for years, just watch some media watch to see it!
