yay for movies!!

"ok so most of you are aware/have a copy by now of the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die list. for those of you interested, the Dryden Theatre (associated w/ the George Eastman House, if u were wondering) is showing several films this summer from that list. most of these i have not seen. almost all are old(ies) (but goodies!).

if i have a language next to the title, it means its in that language w/ english subtitles. don't let that scary you, though; it just gives u an oppurtunity to expand ur horizons, which is always fun.

some of these are in double features, which means that you see two movies for the price of one (which is $6 [$5 when u show them ur student ID]). if the title is not in bold, its not one of the movies on the list, but is shown either right before or right after the film that is.

a few are shown as popcorn specials, which means they'll be selling popcorn, candy, and drinks in the lobby if you want, since the theatre recognizes these movies as those made simply for entertainment purposes. if a title is in green, it's a popcorn special.

I've been to there a lot w/ my dad, and its a decent theatre. Sure, its filled w/ old people, but what can u expect w/ classics?

anyway, here's the schedule:
