dyed yarn
YAY. I finally got around to dyeing one of my handspun yarns. It came out much nicer than I thought it would. I dyed it with turmeric and I thought it was going to come out bright yellow. It came out a goldish rusty color instead.
today i'm going to try to dye with alkanet (maybe purplish gray) and madder root (maybe redish)
I have to spin a lot more yarn.
Also: here's a picture from the black purls meeting yesterday- Hope and Kelly in their cute outfits. We are now meeting at a new coffee shop that makes it own coffee and they have all those huge machines in the back ,which you can see behind Hope & Kelly.
