TV sucks, but I had it on this evening for some reason. Overheard on the Simpsons as I was walking past...
teacher telling Bart or Lisa (not sure which, wasn't watching) to stop frowning so much, turn it into an upside down frown. Then he/she smiles. So teacher says "that's not an upside down frown, that's a smile. Work on that, too."
I guess you could read into that a couple ways, or not at all. I think it's good commentary on preconceived notions and expectations. Never being good enough. Teachers not being able to teach. That sort of thing.
Humans aren't perfect, sure. But when they get their hands on young minds, expect ruin.
