Teen Hits & Groovy Greats Pt.1 (LPs I own)
The "teen" collections (above) are cool because they include artists like Buddy Holly, Jackie Wilson, The Ventures and Johnny Burnette. And I still wonder where "On Top of Spaghetti" was a teen hit?
"Beat Beat Beat" may be my favorite of the covers. "Groovy Greats" features The Beachnuts (aka Lou Reed) doing Cycle Annie, who by the way, aren't a British band... actually If I'm not mistaken, NONE of the artists on that LP are British. But it IS very Groovy, baby.
