Nothing makes me more furious than watching a documentary like "Who Killed The Electric Car?" and seeing how big companies determine the course of our future. If I could turn in my car today and use something else, I would. Even driving a fuel efficient car like the Toyota Corolla still makes me feel dirty after watching this movie.
I'm also reminded that checking things like your tire's air pressure makes a bid difference in the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. You can lose up to 1 PSI a day in your tires, which can severely limit your MPG. You should check your tire's air pressure every day, but in lieu of that, do it every time you fill up. You'll be surprised.
