I just came back from my trip to Las Vegas this past week and I can definitely say that it was better than I thought it would actually be. My mum, my sister, and I woke up very early and packed all of our clothes for the trip we were supposed to have been ready for the night before. Rustling and scurrying left, right, and all around we finally organized all of our things together and set out for the infamous desert oasis of sins and indulgences. On our way we picked up my uncle and aunt who were going to accompany us on our four hour journey from on state to another.
Upon our arrival I could see a vast city full of business and gambling and smoke and prostitution and luxury. This was the city that everyone desires to visit, Nevada's little nirvana. The hotel we decided to retire to was an impressive 52 story high building surrounded by insignificant hostels and motels. The Palms hotel. Yes thats what it was.
The first night was sluggish at best. My new 80 gig ipod and my nintendo DS became bestest of friends that day. However the next night was a blast. I saw the Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian hotel; that show was absolutely fantastic. Due to certain circumstances, my mum became a little "ill" as she would've said and couldn't go see a different show with my uncle and aunt. The show, Jubilee, was another show that I saw...it was my first topless show.
It was strange... really... watching that show with my uncle and aunt... at 11:00 PM...
