(no subject)
Saturday was just great. I saw all my favorite people, got another Modest Mouse ticket, and went to a show. David and I metro-ed to the El Rey (which was almost a disaster). Mellowdrone played unexpectedly. I had only heard one of their songs prior to the show, and really liked it, and it was ten times better live. The lead guy was amazingly out of control. He was sitting in a chair the whole time, but I don't know how he actually stayed in it. Metric was great, and South was excellent. I was super tired during South's performance so I kinda closed my eyes and took in the music and it was just beautiful. Easily one of the best shows I've been to.
Yesterday David and I made fliers for his band's show on the 7th. We met either the most interesting or the craziest lady at Kinko's and talked to her for awhile (I caught only the tail end of the conversation). Got horchata and then did my mother's grocery shopping (because we always seem to have to do this when we go out).
I had an AA meeting last night and I took David and he gave me my one-year cake and Justin gave me his old one-year chip. I'm really glad that they were part of it (Justin and David). It was really special.
I'm going home again tonight to take a cake at my homegroup meeting. Jesus.
I'm back at school now in my bed. I'm supposed to move today before classes at three, because I put it off on Friday, but I am way to lazy to move all my crap across the housing complex.
I felt really happy this weekend. This is how it is supposed to be.
