Weekend preview:
Tonight, I'm supposed to go see girls who recently took a pole-dancing class show off what they learned at Art's Performing Center for their "final project" of sorts. Total "friends-of-a-friend" situation. It's random, and I love that much. I don't know what to expect, really, but it would be cool if anyone else wanted to come see this with me.
Tomorrow, I'm planning to get up to GB before 2:30 in order to see the recently re-acquainted Timebomb Tom at Exclusive Company, then see my grandmother who has been staying at my parents' house recently because she fell and fractured her pelvis. It will be a good day to just hide out.
I think I may be going out in GB later on that night, but who knows.
Sunday, Packers vs. Saints. Lambeau Field. 12 noon.
I'm fucking STOKED to get to go to Lambeau again.
Sounds like we might be pre-gaming for it. woot.

Last night, I found myself at a random basement show with friends.
The series of events was rather comedic in sequence.
band is playing. people are around outside.
random foreign dude shows up, saying, "your dog bit me. give me money."
nobody who lives there, or their guests, has a dog. tell dude to get lost.
foreign dude leaves and calls 911.
ambulance shows up. then cops, with drawn shotguns.
people leave.
aaaaah, typical Riverwest drama. How I've missed you.
The house show was never officially "busted", but it was universally obvious that when cops who have their shotguns cocked and loaded show up to a house where a show is happening, it would probably be a bad idea for the bands to keep playing.
Thus, I will never, ever, get a chance to see A Quest For Fire.
