The holidays are over but I'm still trying to finish my journal for Shimelle's class. I'm up to page 19, woot! I might be done by February. :)
The other half of the winter page.
First half of the cards page. This is the card we sent out this year.
Second half of the cards page, which is pretty much a collage of the cards we've received from the last two years.
The prompt was to write about our Christmas daydreams, what would our perfect Christmas look like. I made a mini book and this is the cover. The inside pages include pictures of family over the holidays.

Advent calendar page. I did a mini version of a larger calendar I made in a class.
Good holiday memories and bad memories. Page made in Photoshop with bling, ribbon and journaling added after.
Christmas shopping. And you can't beat $9.99 for an Ann Taylor tank top!
Do You See What I See? I took pictures around town and then hung what didn't fit from the star clip. Journaling is in the upper corner in white.
Tradition page. I used a combination of Photoshop and traditional paper. With Photoshop, I created the tag using a brush by Rhonna Farrer. I tucked the tag into a Hambly transparency and finished it off with ribbon.
Christmas wrapping. Simple page. Add wrapping page, done!
Oh Tree. Prompt was to write about our Christmas tree. I used the Starbucks tree as a template and cut out a tree. Then I used chipboard ornaments and added pictures of our ornaments. Some 7Gypsies stickers finish it off.
Childhood memories. One of my favorite pages. I created a file folder with a transparency front, added the picture of me as a child and then added a picture of me as an adult behind it along with some journaling on an index card. The index card also includes a light blue stamp from Rhonna.
Christmas tags. I used wrapping paper to collage my tags, added stickers and hung them from the branches.
Christmas music. I still need to add my playlist.
Visitors. We didn't have any. LOL. Everyone was away and we stayed in town because we were selling our townhouse. It was nice and quiet here. :) Love the American Crafts rub on bird.
Grateful. I had a great time ripping off Ali Edwards here. :)
Favorite present. Since I'm so behind, I picked my favorite gift from this year, which was my bo staff.
Holiday treats. I *really* wanted to use a Starbucks sleeve, so I turned the Christmas dinner prompt into one that included Christmas treats. I stuck the menu, treats and story tags inside the sleeve. The embellisments to the right represent peppermint sprinkles for Starbuck's peppermint mocha.
Close-up of tags made in Photoshop. Brushes from Rhonna.
Dear Santa prompt. We've got hinges, stamps, stickers, an envelope, glitter letters ...
... a Christmas tree with stickles, 7Gypsies stamps and more stickers! Still have to add my journaling.
