440 pages, 4 days, no problem.

Right?

I have edited my 440 pages. The Novel. The one formerly tagged TG, then TGET and now CA, because it actually has a title.

I'm having a hard go at getting back to it and copying the edits from the printed-out MS to the actual on-the-computer document itself.

I'm not sure if I'm worn out from the heat (read: house with no climate control, if I were to venture outside, I'd be pleasantly surrounded by a NE summer) the editing itself, or whether I'm burdened down with Too Many Thoughts.

I am also running out of summer.

*sits up, squares shoulders*

To do:
  • incorporate edits
  • read story from each POV to make sure characters/plot/growth/etc actually makes sense
  • send it out to Beta Readers
  • poke query letters with long stick
  • contemplate merits of attending any of the SCBWI events in the immediate future

440 pages.

In four days.

To be clear, I've already accomplished this summer's goals - I've edited the entire damn thing AND I've outlined book two.

This is ... bonus ... stuff.

Which makes you wonder why I'm not in one of the hammock's outside sipping punch from a pineapple...

tget, to do list, tg, editing, writing agony, ca, too many words
