Go 'Stros! Fuck OU!
Well, well my friends it has been too long I must say. Things have been crazy since school has started. I dont even know where to begin. I didnt go to class today cuase i absolutely need a break, my weekends have been all booked up and my days too. One day won't hurt and I promise not to do it again. Anyway, this weekend was great (aside from not doing my hwk) anyway drove to houston, then to dallas. FYI: do not trust directions to your hotel from hotels.com, they made us drive in every direction, except the one our hotel was in. Went to downtown, saw a bunch of drunk people screaming OU SUCKS! and some crazy drunk people talking crap about Texas. Good stuff, amusing to say the least. Drove back to the hotel, but not before stopping to get some food, I had not eaten since like noon and it was almost midnight. Went to IHOP and had a crazy waitress who seemed to be on crack or something. Back to hotel to sleep, much needed sleep. Woke up, found a wal mart, got lost a bit ,found a washington mutual and made our way to the state fair. Parked at a churc across from the fair for 8 bucks, good price. Tried to buy tickets from scalpers but there were none! Watched the game at the fair, ate some good food, walked around and all that great stuff. It was pretty fun, it was a beatiful day and the weather was great. Saw Trey there, he was with his mom (we dropped him off the night before with her) we threw this ball he won around and acted silly. Then this cameraman came over to us and asked if we spoke spanish so he interviewed us for the news..it was pretty funny. Anyway, got on a few rides and the we parted our ways from Trey for the day. Game ended soon, GO TEXAS 45-13!!! TEXAS! FIGHT! FUCK OU!! Anyway so went back to the hotel, watched the 'stros whoop some but ton the braves and then had dinner. Domingo: woke up, got lost becuase Monica had bad directions, picked up Trey and drove straigh to Minute Maid park. Now the highlight of my weekend: THE 18 INNING ASTROS GAME!
It was soooo much fun. Im not even going to lie at first we were all kinda down when LaRouche hit a grand slam but then as you all know Lance Berkman came back with a granny in the 8th. Then hot ass Ausmus hit a solo home run in the 9th to tie the game. This game surpasses the Mets game in how much fun I had. When those runs were scored we went crazy in there. Everyone was giving each other high fives and all that good stuff. Then every time the pitchers had two strikes the crowd would start cheering like crazy. It was good times, my voice is scratchy from all the yelling. Anyay Burke finished the game off by hitting a solo homerun in the 18th and the rest is history! Go ASTROS! I can't wait for the division series starts tomorrow!. Today is our Latino Faculty, Staff and Student Mixer so i'm excited for that.
