Gentlemen...BEHOLD!
Hmm so lets see....
so ive gotten to talk to my roommate more and more... And im so excited for school cause it really seems that me and Kevin will get along amazingly well as roommates and as friends. He is extremely cool , funny and we have alot of the same interests... And he is very relaxed and open minded so its perfect place for Jeff to be Jeff. I told him "about me" And he doesnt care at all. Actually he commended me for telling him from the start cause it "took alot of courage"... courage..heh..thats one of my middle names! (not really ..u know what i mean). I really just want to have a totally different year then what i had my first year in college.... my first year was mostly just inner reflection..since i didnt have a lot of friends at school ( for many different reasons..none of it really was my fault...youd agree if you knew) .. my second year at college was just college...cause i was at home.. SO now i want this year to be the college life that all my friends had... I want tons of people to know me..and i want calls to do stuff...And i want people to show up to my room to say Hi and to hang out because they want to! And i want a roommate who ill get along with!... (well check off that last one!)
Its also cool cause Kevin (gotta try to stop referring to him as my "new roommate) lives like 4 hours away from Oneonta..And i live like ..40 minutes away..So we'll be making some trips now and again to my town and home to get away from campus and to get some REAL food. That should be fun.
Yesterday me and jon and Alex newell went to Jon's lake...mostly we went cause the next day (We got there at night) was supposed to be the most gorgeous day weve had in summer yet (weve only had 4 non-rain days in july...) And that it was!!... that night we just hung out and played games and ate (cause it was cold outside actually) but the next day was truley gorgeous. We swam alot and played "Canoe taiming" which is where you go far out in the lake and tip the canoe ..and then like ...try to keep it underwater..and try to get everyone to stand on it and such.. it was very fun. I also havent felt so funny in a very long time ..everything i said had people cracking up and laughing. It felt real good. I also got lots of sun so thats great too! But all that swimming made me super-exhausted cause..well...i dont swim that often especially for that long.. So i went to bed at midnight which is early for me when i dont have to work or anything.
