Alright - Day 1 of the hoedown was awesome and probably will be the best of all three days. Miranda Lambert, Terri Clark, and Josh Gracin consecutively and all for free!
I took a lot of pictures myself, and I'll be sure to put them on here as soon as I can figure out how to work my camera :-)
But here are some pictures that OTHER people took which are pretty much the same considering that we were looking at the same thing :-)
This is Rodney Atkins. He was the first big performer of the day, and the only one to play on the lower stage. I was literally standing about 6 feet to the left of where this picture was taken.
This would be Trent Tomlinson. He was a lot better than I thought he would be. Not only did he write all of the songs on his album, but he also wrote the awesome song "Missing Missouri" for Sara Evans, and songs for Emerson Drive and Blue County as well. I was sitting on the left side of the stage when this picture was taken. I got to meet him afterwards. He's cool. But he smokes.

No possible way to describe Terri's performance. She put all of her energy into it and performed every single one of her hits. Which is a big feat considering she's been around for 11 years.
Josh Gracin both started and ended his performance in the actual crowd! He's the only performer in three years of hoedowns that I've seen do this. It was pretty crazy when the show started...and you only saw his band...and then you heard him sing...and you were like "where the heck is he?"... and then 100 crazy drunk fan girls notice he's standing right in front of them.
His show was great as well. Very high energy. He even stayed after his concert and gave every single person an autograph that wanted one. I wanted one, but unfortunately it was midnight by the time his show was over, and we were all exhausted.
VIP section was awesome. Turns out there was a SECOND VIP section for people who have the blue shirts. I had a blue shirt :-) So I had access to BOTH VIP sections AND the normal section. So it was pretty cool. I got a variety of views :-)
And thank you thank you thank you so much kayla and kayla's mom :-)
