maybe unicorns sound like zebras instead of horses
Hey, I don't really have anything to say right now but my journal was starting to bore me. I should--really really should--be doing the heap of French work that has accumulated over time. oh well..
Today I went to a memorial service for my great aunt. I didn't know her all that well I guess, but I do have memories of her. She was a consistent, kind-hearted presence throughout my childhood. An unmistakably good person.
Oh yes...happy new year! 2006 has always, even just a month ago, seemed so far away. By next September I guess I'll be in one of four different states, based on the college options I've given myself. I'm almost finished with applications; I went on an essay writing spree last weekend, completing everything for college plus one that I needed to write for English class. Now if only I could go on a French spree..
Ever heard of the band, The Polyphonic Spree? They look like a musical mental ward but they sound pretty good. Irrelevant.
So I heard that tomorrow is wear-something-weird day. No lie. Dare you.
