Not again!!!
Argh. Just, argh. It's snowing...again. The sidewalks had been clear, and the birds were singing, and yesterday was all sunshine and blue skies, and I wake up this morning with an inch of snow on the ground!!! Pfft.
Well, just writing to fangirl about my newest love - a CanAmerican production by the name of Storm Hawks. The animation is kind of freaky (tiny joints and hugely-muscled calves kind of characters), and the animators are lazy (each episode has a handful of "generic" scenes that are used two, three, or seven times), but the voice actors are fun, and the characters are entirely too endearing. The first 26 episodes are available on Veoh, and there's already an LJ-comm or two, and a pile of fics at FF.net, a handful of which are worth reading - there's a fic comm that's been created just to collect well-written stories, of any genre or pairing.
I've got a couple stories of my own started, actually. Of course, that doesn't mean that they'll be finished any time soon. I'm also working on no less than 7 others at the same time, so hopefully I'll manage to get something done soon.
Well, Storm Hawks is tons of fun. Check it out - it's great for some lighter humor, and worksafe too!!!
