The Child Development Program went to Sweden on Thursday for a good ol' study tour, which basically just means we visited a few schools, ate some meals, saw a cathedral or two, and rode around on a bus for a while. The country was beautiful, but I can't really quantify if I had a nice time or not. The CDD program is comprised of 38 girls and 3 boys, which pretty much throws off the entire dynamic of the group, plus makes it insenly cliquey. I dunno...I really like a bunch of the girls on the program, but so many of the other ones are bitchy or dumb or both, and it's definitely hard to put up with. Anyways, the trip to Sweden really just got me thinking about so many things here...I don't know how well or how much I care to elaborate, but, needless to say, I am growing wary of our weeklong March study tour trip to London.

A few anecdotes, though: Our first night in Lund, we stayed in a train hostel. The group leaders had never stayed there before so they were just as shocked as we were when we saw the rooms. Basically, there were three beds stacked on top of one another, and about a foot of floor space. Unless we were all in bed, the three of us couldn't even all FIT in the room! At least it makes for a good "you'll look back on this and laugh" story. Thursday night a group of us went to see The Woodsman, mostly because we didn't want to go to a bar, and we didn't want to sit in our little train hostel! The movie was pretty good, albeit depressing...

I felt very productive travel-wise this week. Justin and I have a hotel for our weekend in London following my study tour. I am thisclose to getting round trip tickets to Edinburgh for April, and we also have our plane tickets and hotel reservation for Paris! Now, it is on to Olga and my fabulous, girly trip to Italy!

I am proud of myself for going to the gym three times this week. I have been so anxious about not having a routine here, and I'm hoping this feat means I'm finally settling into something permanent...
