Only 39 days left in the school year to teach the rest of my curriculum. Yikes! But state standardized testing this coming week - bleh. This is why my history class will be treated to "the end of the Middle Ages in Europe - death and destruction"...(no, really - the lesson on the plague, including Pixar's short film from the point of view of the rats)

And a sweet, intelligent girl I taught when she was a 5th grader has been accepted to college today. At my alma mater. Also yikes! Now I feel old. ;)
