After-party randomness...

So, anyway, I guess if the super shuts off our power and then threatens to call the police because of all the noise, the party could be considered a success... right?

Seems to make sense to me. Some of the party-goers are still here. One of them appears to be cradling a beer bottle near his head as he is sprawled out on the floor... We'll be kicking them out soon.

"Friends surfing" is fun. Hi, madwhistler! heeheehee...

Chris and I are going to wander up to Times Square and then down to Herald Square for some window shopping. The weather up here is gorgeous. Sunny and in the 60's. We were suposed to have thunderstorms all day yesterday, the remnants of Ivan, but it was just hot and sticky most of the day instead. It seems to have cleared out though. Maybe we'll actually have "autumn" weather this year before it gets to be really cold.

I need to go home today and bring my stuff from the event last weekend. Maybe even do laundry or something like that... Clean clothes. What a silly idea...

I love the city; the activity, the energy of the people, the fact that we can get food (of just about any type) delivered at 1am (although it was a bit earlier than that last night), but I can't wait to get out of here. It is where I need to be right now so I can finish what I'm doing, but I think I'm ready to go... Now all I have to do are the scary things, like buy a car, reteach myself how to drive, find a job, apartment/house hunt, and move....
