Long day yesterday...
At 10am I read an email form the realtor. She was free from 12-2 yesterday. So were Chris and I. So.... Out to Westfield we went.
Not a bad trip. With time, we should be able to time the PATH train connection so that we are not sitting in the station for an hour waiting for the NJ Transit train. Her office is accross the street from the station in Westfield, so she picked us up from the station at 12:26, and off we went through the wilds of Westfield and Cranford. We actually only got a chance to look at 4 of the 6 we were interested in because she had another appointment at 2:30, and we'e actually only interested in 2 out of those 4. Both of those, however have issues/questions that would need to be dealt with/answered before we could actually seriously consider them. Still, seeing two places we could deal with on the first trip out is encouraging. I need to email her with a summary of our thoughts on the places we looked at. We are also thinking that since it's coming up to the middle of May, there may be more places coming on the market in the next week or so with the intent to rent for June 1st. So, we're going to be a bit patient and see if something better comes up. If not, neither of our two preferences would really be a bad choice...
