Update....
So, the weekend was full of lounging... and shopping... and cleaning...
Friday was Brian's birthday, so we went back to the scotch bar... rather I met everyone there because of the payroll annoyances, and giving 12th noght gifty-ness to Kaz and Podling and the standing around to chat. Almost decided to go with them tot he event, but wasn't really feeling it...
Anyway, I only had one lambic and one scotch at the bar before we went home. Getting smashed was not the plans for the night. bobwaldo1 and I got up semi-early on Saturday, and just lounged around in bed watching cartoons. Then, in the early afternoon, we headed into the city so he could sterilize his thesis equipmant and we could do some window shopping while that was going on. Long story short, the sterilizer was missing a part, so he couldn't do what he wanted to do with his experiment, but we did walk down to Crate and Barrel to see what kind of stuff they had, since neither of us have visited that store before. High end stuff, and way too many vases of all shapes and colors.... Some of the furniture is pretty cool, though...
Anyway, back to Brooklyn (after ice cream) to order sushi and watch the entire season of Greg the Bunny that bobwaldo1 got for Christmas on DVD... I understand why the last two episodes neer aired... It is a very disturbing show. Puppets shouldn't do that... ever... Speaking of which, we are going to see Avenue Q for Valentines Day... Well, actully, the matinee showing on the day before Valentines day, but still....
Sunday after breakfast and Mass, I went home and cleaned my apartment. No, really. I pulled two large garbage bags full of clutter out of my bedroom. I'm not done, but there is definitely a dent. I got throught the second season of Coupling while I was doing that...
Summary: Quiet weekend, rather relaxing. Need to clean more and bake cookies for visiting relatives this weekend...
