I think I'm addicted.
The best candy in the world always comes out at Easter time. I don't care much about valentines candy at all--it's too rich with all that crap inside the chocolate. But the BEST kind of candy of ALL is Robin Eggs!!! And every year i eat them until they just about make me sick. I think i have a problem. I think i need Robin Eggs Anonymous. I have one here that is heart-shaped. how weird is that? it's a lopsided heart that was obviously not done on purpose, but it's pretty much heart-shaped.
Saturday I turned on VH1 when i got up to get my pop culture news for the week so that i can have something to talk about at work. After the countdown and Best Week Ever i started cleaning, and just left the TV on for background noise. And America's Next Top Idol came on. I'd never seen this show before. And i thought it was total trash, but i left it on for the sake of having noise in the house while i worked. And i totally got into it! It was a marathon. All 12 episodes of what apaprently was the last season of this show. I was so annoyed by these whiney bitches, but i had to keep watching! why is reality tv so... like that??? ugh!
Funny thing is... i've never even heard of the girl that won. i even picked up the last In Style i got and flipped through it looking for her picture, and it wasn't there.
Speaking of whiney bitches and pop culture, i watched a little bit of the oscars last night. I was out for a while and totally missed the red carpet, which is really the most important part. But what was up with Laura Linney? She looked dreadful. That color was all wrong, and her hair looked like crap. Poor girl. I hope she gets a new stylist. because i kind of like her. And hilary swank's dress was really beautiful, but it made her look 40. isn't she like 20 or something? cate blanchet looked stunning, though. and i have not thought her to be that pretty, up till recently. it's like she finally found what works, or something. she's a ridiculously great actress though. i'm happy she is getting recognized for her enourmous talent.
my typing is crap today.
I leave for Savannah in 2 days!!!! Wednesday night i fly outa here.
Oh yeah, my other latest news... i passed my test on friday night, and am now a 2nd degree white sash in kung fu!!!
