Well, after checking out the bank's dress code, I realized that a major shopping trip actually IS a necessity... five years of college and four years of employment at a deli didn't exactly help me build up a wardrobe of "business causual" clothing. I sincerely hope that I don't have to look bland and vaguely preppy for nine hours every day. :P The other problem is - guys have it pretty simple, you buy slacks, a few ties, some button-down shirts. Women, on the other hand, have all these options and I'm not sure which of them are most appropriate. Or where to purchase nice clothes that won't cost a lot of money - as it is, I will probably have to borrow from my mother and I know she doesn't have much to spare.
Does anyone have suggestions for stores I could go to that would have affordable clothes, in particular ones for someone who is only five feet tall and a size one-ish? I have a ridiculously hard time finding skirts or pants that fit me in general, but when I was only wearing them to class or to a laid-back job, it wasn't so much of an issue. Any advice you can offer would be much appreciated. :)
And P.S. - DEFINATELY no nose piercing allowed. *tear* I've had my little nose spike for about five years now & it's precious to me. *sighs*
