Christmas Post ^_^
Yea for happy annual Christmas posts. Its kinda sad that I can only do one post a year and still not have many new things to talk about lol. But this Christmas is much improved over last year in the weather situation at least, no blizzards!!! Southern Oklahoma is not made for snow! My town was nice and semi-warm for December and then when we got to the town where our parents lived it was cold!! But still, no snow and that is nice!
Overall it was a very pleasant day. Got to sleep in a bit and then got up to open presents with my husband and then we finally got around and packed up all our gifts to take with us. It was a nice drive and then we had a tasty lunch with family. We then got to exchange gifts with my husbands family and everyone got some pretty cool stuff. But if there was a ever a cliched gift giving trend I would say it had to be this year lol. Probably 90% of what I gave my husband was tools, and probably 90% of what he gave me was cooking/kitchen related. Throw in a few video games for each of us and we had a great holiday! We also got to spend a bit of time with my parents, occasionally trying but still a nice time. Everyone is always in high moods on the holidays.
So we had a nice quite no snow Christmas and I am glad with that. I think everyone had a good time today and so now we will sit and relax and ooh and ahh over all our pretty new shinies (xbox controllers, cookbooks, laptops) and be happy, or as happy as a family can be with the dying screams of halo echoing throughout the room.
