I realized today that family day at gtown and the chance to spend some quality time with your only daughter in her first year of college is less important than a football game. Thanks mom and dad cuz i've had such a freaking wonderful day being the only person here alone at the football game and stuck in my dorm room alone while my roommate and all of my other friends are out to eat and go shopping with their families.
The sick thing is that my mom called me and asked if i still wanted her to come up now that the game was over. she said, "im sure by now all the other families are out shopping and having fun together" trying to make up for this morning. and i had to tell her not to waste her gas because there was really nothing else to do today anyway and she agreed that it wasnt worth it.
Oh but of course, she said they'll come up tomorrow to go to church with me and watch my game. yeah, cuz that is such a great way to catch up with me. watching me from across the field talking amongst themselves. freaking wonderful.
So congrats, guys. UK won. I hope watching that was worth it. I guess you've never heard of DVR
