Wow... what a weekend!
Friday, I woke up early to practice sax, piano, voice, and then driving.. and I still haven't hit anything even though these two children were on their bikes and were swerving in the middle of road... I yelled a little(with the windows up, mind you), but didn't hit them :-D So, that's been encouraging! And then Miss Tessa Annette came over and we spent the afternoon together, and it was an absolute blast. I love that girl with all my heart. And then after that, we left for Hershey, PA! From here to Falls Church I mostly listened to Spice Girls, ate McDonalds, and then got a very nice phone call from Gordo :-) It was nice.. it helped me not freak out that we were in very heavy traffic, and there were a million scary drivers out. And then we went to pick up Chris... and then we drove the rest of the way to Hershey. Pretty much we all watched the Phantom of the Opera the entire time, because Chris hadn't seen it, and I never get sick of it! He really liked it. We arrived at the hotel at about 11 because we kind of got lost once we got in Hershey... teehee... I did wake up during the night because I ended up going in the middle of the bed and knocking my sister off and I woke up to her shoving me over to the other side of the bed :-) Quite amusing...
Then yesterday we went to Hershey Park, and that was an absolute blast! We went on several roller coasters, and my Dad and brother even went on the water ride that no one wanted to go on with me... unfortunately, my Daddy didn't realize that there are three waterfalls on the ride, so there was no way to not get wet... we were pretty cold seeing as it was sixty something degrees outside :-D Then we left at about 6 and then went out for dinner at the Olive Garden, which is one of my favey restaraunts. I love the BREAD and SALAD! Soo, soo good!
Then this morning we woke up, packed up, and left... we watched Shrek 2 from Hershey to Falls Church, and then we hung out with Chris for a while. We went out to Giant and Trader Joe's to get Chris some groceries... and then we went out to eat at the Silver Diner... which I highly recommend. Great burgers, great shakes, and there were little juke boxes at each of the tables to request songs for the main stereo system... I got Sing, Sing, Sing , New York, New York, and Take the A Train on there! I was happy! :-D Then we went to Best Buy, and then we dropped Chris off :( And then we drove home and I slept for an hour, and then my sis and I watched When Harry Met Sally which is a wonderful movie. And now I'm back home... it's been great fun! And plus, I got some sun! Teehee, wow I rhymed! Haha, oh well! I hope you all have great Father's Days!
Love to all of you!
