1. What is your full name?
- Cerceus Tethys Eil Ton
2. Where and when were you born?
- I was 'born' in the year 1988, in Wales. Though I should probably point out that I wasn't really born in the conventional way, more like created out of the essence of my parents.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
- Lethiel Tethys Eil Ton is my papa. He's a Triton, which is merfolk nobility, capable of taking bipedal form. He tends to be in human form more often than not, which I don't get. He plays piano like a virtuoso, and tends to play in his sleep. He's small, smaller than me, and he has brown hair and brilliant blue-green eyes. He's half Welsh, half Greek, pretty emotionally constrained, sarcastic, kind of the artistic type though he keeps pretty much everything he composes for himself.
I don't tell people my father's name. We call him Griss. He was an angel of the firmament once, one of the Annunaki, and after he Fell he was the second-best weaponsmith on Lucifer's side. These days, he does weapon and armor work only when he feels like it. He's mostly obsessed with cars, so he lets humans pay him to fix and modify their vehicles. He's gruff, usually pretty quiet, but when he gets mad, you want to be a few hundred miles away. He likes beer and car shows and working out and stuff.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
- Just one. I have an older brother, Takael. He's not like me, he's a Nephilim, which is kind of a half-human, half-Elohim. He's a lot like my Father, obsessed with cars, but he's kind of got a daredevil streak. He likes street racing, which is illegal in most places around here, but he does it anyway. He's got friends who are into the same stuff he's into, and they're all obsessed with their cars. We've never really been close, but we don't dislike each other. We just don't have anything in common.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
- In Sheol, in the lake. There's nothing in the bloody lake except water and dirt, it's pretty obviously fake, but it's water and it's big enough to swim comfortably in, so I guess I can't bitch. So far, nobody lives down there with me.
6. What is your occupation?
- I don't have one. In life, I was a hunter, I caught and killed my food. Around here, I'm just kind of... existing.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
- Ummmm. I have two forms. My natural form, I'm about two and a third meters long, probably 17 stone and 2. Green and silver scales. I have black hair which I usually wear short because it gets tangled as hell in the water, and my skin's a little on the darker side from my father, who took a Hispanic body. Webbed hands, claws, sharp teeth, and completely black eyes. My hair's got green undertones in it that I kind of like.
In human form, I'm a handspan under two meters and 9 stone and 9. My eyes are green, everything else basically the same except, you know, legs.
8. To which social class do you belong?
- We were probably working class, but I didn't exactly take part in society so I don't know that I had a social class, per se.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
- Nope.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
- Left-handed. So's Papa. We're both southpaws.
11. What does your voice sound like?
- I'm an excellent tenor, and I like lazy, drawling tones when I speak. Kinda sexy.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
- I swear a lot.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
- I don't wear clothes so I don't have pockets.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
- Too many to list, but I like to sing, play instruments, and write music. I like the taste of blood, so I try to get it whenever I can. I have a lot of predatory habits that freak people out. I mostly eat fish.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
- I guess most people would think it was pretty weird, but it was pretty straightforward to me. My parents were never real demonstrative, but they were always there when we needed them, and I never doubted that they loved me. They always kind of treated us like grown-ups... they didn't tell us the comforting lies a lot of parents tell their kids, they didn't treat us like we weren't smart enough to get things, they explained stuff even when it was over our heads. They were just kind of straight with us. We had a pretty calm household, all things considered. I didn't even realize until I was older that it was strange to have two male parents.
16. What is your earliest memory?
- Papa teaching me about underwater safety and how to hunt.
17. How much schooling have you had?
- I pretty much ditched formal schooling. I couldn't go to public school because I'm not human, and my parents couldn't get me interested in much besides music. I can read, write, do algebra, I know some history, and such... I guess you could call me a high-school graduate, but it was kinda spotty. I don't know shite about chemistry or physics or geometry or anything, but I do know about kabbalistic magic and theology, music composition, and mythology.
18. Did you enjoy school?
- Nope. Wiggled out of it whenever I could.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
- From my parents. Some, like music, are innate.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
- Not really, I kind of march to my own drum.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
- I think I already answered this, but yeah, we pretty much got along. None of us were really demonstrative people (except me) so nobody really got hostile with anybody else.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
- ... A merman? We don't do the occupation thing so well. I could have been an international rock star with my voice and my talent, but I would have hated every minute of it. I'd rather play for myself.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
- Swimming, hunting, singing and playing, I like computer and video games, and watching TV.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
- ... pretty much the same ones I have now?
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
- I didn't really socialize. Full stop.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
- I don't even remember. Probably one of my early human meals. I remember being pretty awkward at first, but I got into stride at some point.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
- Hell no. I do remember the first time I had sex, though. It was a distant Selkie cousin from Ireland. They came by and stopped in to visit on their migratory route, and we were pretty young and exploratory, and we kind of got into it. It ended up in awkward, not-so-fun sex, but it still felt good, so while they were staying and visiting we did a lot of making out and exploring and stuff. I think I was, like, twelve?
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
- I was born this way. Hell, I didn't even figure out how to grow legs until I was six or seven.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
- I don't know. I'm dead, so I guess I'd consider however I died to be the most important point, but I can't remember it, so it's hard to say.
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
- I don't know, my parents? There's a lot of musical artists I really like, but I can't name them all right now, my brain's failing to come up with a list. Probably a lot of punk banks like the Sex Pistols and I know I like the Rolling Stones.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
- I don't have any great achievements, but there are some really gorgeous humans I've fucked and eaten over the years. I reeled in this redhead one time, and I think he actually was secretly gay or something, because he was just... intense. We went all night, and he just couldn't get enough, and every time I thought "okay, we're done, I'll eat him now" he'd climb onto my cock again. I ended up killing him through blood loss... bit him so many times, eventually he just passed out in mid-fuck. I kept drinking while I finished and he was dead by the time I was done. Smile on his face, though.
32. What is your greatest regret?
- Not living longer?
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
- Christ, where do I start. I've raped people, I've twisted their minds so they wanted me when they ordinarily wouldn't, which I guess is mind-rape? I've eaten them, both after they were dead and before. I've killed tons of humans for reasons as simple as disturbing my peace or fishing in my territory. I'm not really a nice person.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
- Depends on whether anybody found the corpses.
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
- When I was five, I think, I stirred up some really gritty silt and accidentally inhaled it. It tore the hell out of my gills. I started choking, suffocating on my own blood, I couldn't breath. Drowning, actually. And I couldn't see because of all the silt, so I didn't know which way was up. I couldn't call Papa or find my way to the surface. He pulled me out and got me up to the air so I could breath, but for a while, I was just... drowning in darkness. I still have nightmares sometimes.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
- One time, I was near home doing the siren bit, and I accidentally reeled in this great big neanderthal of a man. He probably had a really weak mind, because even when I stopped singing he stayed under the spell for like two hours, during which I was pretty roughly fucked in every orifice I possessed. Which was okay with me at first, but he was REALLY built, and he kind of wore me out. Some random passerby shook me awake the next day, totally naked, still in human form, and kept trying to get me to go to the police for a rape kit before I could get them to leave me alone. I was pretty embarassed.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
- Probably DYING.
38. What is your best memory?
- Jam sessions with my extended family. Those were always fun.
39. What is your worst memory?
- I already told that story, about the drowning.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
- I guess I'm a pessimist. I don't know, I usually kind of take things the way they ARE. But I don't have a lot of faith in people, I guess that makes me a half-empty type of guy.
41. What is your greatest fear?
- It was dying. Now, I don't know.
42. What are your religious views?
- You want ten or so pages single-spaced on that subject? Between The Almighty, the Celtic and Greek Pantheons, and my complete lack of giving a damn, I'm like the world's most omni-theological agnostic.
43. What are your political views?
- Clean up the oceans, dammit.
44. What are your views on sex?
- Whoever, whenever, wherever. As long as they're tolerable and decently cute.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
- I kill all the time. Or, I used to. I'm kind of tame now, which I hate. I try not to kill people I care about, or know personally.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
- I don't know, genocide? I couldn't give less of a fuck what the humans do as long as they keep their sewage and trash out of my habitat.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
- Yes, but not for me. I don't have a soul, and I'm too selfish for true love.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
- Enjoying as much of it as possible.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
- Totally honest, as much as I can be. I hate people who lie or dance around issues, and I try not to do it.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
- I really dislike humans. And women. Particularly women. Bloody insane creatures who make no sense and cause nothing but trouble.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
- Swim in sewage? I dunno. It's a circumstantial thing.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
- I might die to protect my family, but that's tough. I didn't want to die in the first place. I could have lived four centuries.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
- Sarcastically and bluntly, possibly hungrily. Yeah, it does change, but I'm pretty much the same person at all hours of the day.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
- I am.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
- Lord... right now? In Sheol or during my life back home? Back home, probably my father. Here, I don't know... maybe Zuko.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
- Well, Zuko WAS. I don't know if he is anymore... I might have run him off in a fit of hunger/lust. Kisa's my friend, though. She's a sweet girl. And I'm sleeping with Akito. He's a little complicated, but mostly okay.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
- Nope. Never have, probably never will.
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
- Hell no.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
- Attractiveness, a tolerable personality (or at least the ability to shut up), willingness
60. How close are you to your family?
- We were kind of close. I talked to them once a week or so after I was grown up.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
- Hell no. What kind of a parent would I make?
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
- Right now? Maybe Kisa, she wouldn't hold it over my head or tell anyone about it.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
- If I can't protect myself, I don't deserve to have anybody else protecting me. I don't want them to, either.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
- ... just my parents and my brother.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
- Right now? Deo. Son of a bitch (and I mean that literally) turned my tail to stone and tried to molest me. I'd kill him if I thought it would do any good.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
- Hell, I'll argue. Like I give a fuck what they think?
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
- I'm no leader, but I'm not afraid of speaking the truth and making tough calls.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
- No. I still feel like a bug under a microscope when there are too many humans around.
69. Do you care what others think of you?
- Not really. As long as I can still get laid, I'm happy.
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
- Music, sex, music, sex, music, oh, and sex. Also, sometimes I write short stories in the old Grimm Brothers tradition.
71. What is your most treasured possession?
- Right now? My diver's knife.
72. What is your favorite color?
- Green.
73. What is your favorite food?
- Fresh, live fish.
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
- Fairy tales, fiction, fantasy, that sort of thing.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
- Music. Rock, punk, and folk. Sometimes jazz. I love a good concert and I love a good jam session more.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
- Nope.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
- I don't think there's a specific way. I'm usually swimming or hunting.
78. What makes you laugh?
- Stupid people being stupid. Emotional people making dumb mistakes because of their emotions.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
- Not much, really. I guess I can be easily offended.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
- Probably write something.
81. How do you deal with stress?
- Fuck, kill, eat, swim in circles. The usual.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
- I'm pretty spontaneous.
83. What are your pet peeves?
- idiocy, lies, especially unnecessary white lies that over complicate things,
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
- I don't have a routine, I basically go with the moment, so the disruption thing doesn't really apply.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
- Strength? I don't know... I really, really like myself? I don't think most people can actually say that. And it's not like, "Hi, I'm the greatest person ever" while inwardly I'm filled with self-loathing, I honestly do like myself.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
- I'm not a long-term planner. I often don't think things through. I do what I want to do at the moment and sometimes that's not the thing I really SHOULD have done.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
- I'd still be alive.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
- Extroverted.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
- Messy.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Good
- Music
- Sex
- fighting
Bad
- Getting along with people.
- Long-term relationships
- Being nice
91. Do you like yourself?
- I already covered this. Yes.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
- N/A
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
- My lifetime is over. I was kind of hoping I'd get a song written about me, though, if I let enough lovers live.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
- Right here, and either a tame housepet or totally insane.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
- I already died. But if I could choose how it went, I guess I'd rather die of a heart attack after a long night of drunken sex with a dozen gorgeous people.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
- Well, knowing what I know now, I'd pack up everything I wanted to take with me, then I'd probably get roaring drunk and hit a sex club or something.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
- I don't know. My family are the only people I ever thought about wanting to remember me. I guess my superior skills?
98. What three words best describe your personality?
- Sarcastic, predatory, and seductive.
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
- Sexy, scary, jackass.
100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)
- I really don't give advice very often! Though, "stop trying to chew on Zuko" would be a good one right about now.
