[It's been a while since they'd had any contact at all, but Uta did say that Justin was her friend, and, as such, he's obligated to send a text, at the very least.]
[Poor Justin... she's having a hard time with her memory ever since she got back... but she kinda recognizes him and doesn't really feel the need to be careful around this guy. Nevertheless, she's not about to say how depressed she really is.]
Something like that... Anthony was like the big brother I never had. Sadly... Ichiru is someone I can remember only a little bit about.
[He... didn't know she left. Maybe he should leave the office sometimes. And sorry, Uta, but Justin doesn't know much about making people feel better. Have to talk to Penny for that.]
That--you mean that metaphorically. It's an emotional hurt.
Well... not loss-loss... More like... cloudy-loss.
[In which she is stupidly thinking of making a deal with the Deities to clear things up. Don't worry, Justin, you have succeeded in making her laugh at least.]
Haha... yes, metaphorically. Probably because Anthony said he might not come back... Ichiru though...
[Well, why not? She doesn't remember him being mean or anything.]
I went home... more than a month here, but I think it was only a few days back home? When I came back to the City, everything was a blur... I thought it would clear up by now, it's been weeks...
Anthony felt it though... he just kinda... knew that he wasn't going to be back...
Is it stupid? I mean... I went to his apartment but couldn't find it in me to open the door.
It's not stupid. I had a... friend, in a way. Not in the City. He--after he was gone, there was this idiotic desire to look for him and, at the same time, a fear of... confirming that he was gone, I suppose, by looking for him and not finding him.
We can avoid accepting certain truths if we don't look for confirmation. If you don't determine that your friend's apartment is empty, you can deny that he left regardless of what you know to be true.
[That was a lot of talking. Er...]
Have you seen a doctor? Memory loss can be induced and cured without the City.
Heh... Is it really all that idiotic? Anthony's from a world without magic, so he wasn't sure how he was gonna get back here... I am though, so I told him that I would find a way to look for him.
Even though I saw his portrait in the Hall of the Missing... I guess I'm still in denial right now.
They're friends of yours?

But my heart hurts when I think about him...
[Because after all, Ichiru was already dead.]

No one can know who comes back.

If you want to talk... I doubt I can help, but I can listen.

[...well. She never thought of that...]
A doctor? Do you really think they could help?

I don't know. If your memory loss has a physiological cause, they should be able to.

And I have no clue whether it's psychological or just... plain forgetfulness. But I might do just that...
Thanks, Justin... you're a big help..!

You're welcome, Uta.
[And what? Help...? Good?]
