note to self:
when teaching cooper the command 'stay', it is wise to tempt him with something (ex: a dog treat), and make him wait for your command to retrieve his treat.

make sure you pay attention to where you're sliding the dog treat, so that the dog will not pace in front of the wash machine (drooling) for 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get under the wash machine, to retrieve his treat.
