[drabble] Priceless
Title: Priceless

Gray stains the day, a continuous colour that stretches as far as the eye can see. Gray streets, gray skies, gray clouds, gray, gray, gray.
Solemn faces traipse along the gray streets to their destinations. It’s a depressing scene that he wakes up to, but soon, he smiles, stepping away from the window and stretching as he heads to his front door, opening it in anticipation. He leans against the doorframe, well aware that he’s not really dressed, but he doesn’t really care either.
A smirk plays on the corner of his mouth, his lips dancing into a smile, as the elevator door opens with a ding and a man steps out with a stomp of his shoes that squeak against the smooth tiled floors.
He’s shaking his hair, soaked with that torrent of rain, a newspaper sitting atop his head as a sad attempt to keep his head dry. It’s become a mess of wet sheets stuck together in a gray, gray, mess.
The drenched man doesn’t even bother to let the smile dance across his lips; it just appears, like a story going from beginning to the happy ending in a single second.
And his own smile widens as he steps aside to let the soaked man in.
“Morning, Ryo,” Kazuya says, his fingers flitting ever so subtly to the back of Ryo’s neck in a sort of secret caress.
Ryo just grabs the bags from Kazuya’s hands, “Morning.”
Kazuya’s expression when Ryo’s fingers touch his, as he takes the bags from Kazuya, is priceless.
They’re acting like stupid teenagers, stupidly in love, but he doesn’t care right now. This moment, just this moment, seems ordinary but priceless at the same time.

wow, is it just me or have I gotten rusty in these months of not writing. I really should work on this...
Actually, I'm at work right now lol. But, hope whoeve reads it likes it :D I promise to write more. My first task is...writing the fic I owe kamexkame :) bye~ until next time~ :)
