Yay TEFL job!
I had an interview on Monday and I thought I fluffed it but I found today I got the job! It's teaching English at a brand new school in Wimbledon. Callan Method, that I'm not too crazy about but it's probably ok and it's paid training. I might get to do some normal classes too. It's only starting up so it's a few hours a week only at the moment but hopefully it will be a lot of hours by the end of the summer, it's something, and honestly, I only need something to tide me over until September when I start my PGCE (Teacher training) and get my scholarship money. The only catch is I'll be self-employed which is a pain in the arse because tax forms literally make me ill (yes, I mean that literally) but well, I was self-employed for ages. I'll manage. And I finally get to use what the TESOL course taught me. So, yay job!
