(no subject)
hello from denver
so last night i got in pretty late and didnt really have the chance to see much and i hate flying so my stomach was still in knots from that, my dad went out to some meeting for his company and i took a bath ordered room service and read. yes i know you are jealous i lead quite an exciting life. like that of a 40 year old. But today i woke up and my hair was literally a birds nest from the hotel shampoo, so i smoothed it the best i could into a ponytail, put on the one set of clothes in my suitcase that matched and went and had breakfast by myself, i had oatmeal and fruit and sausage and it was delicious, this being my only day in denver i knew i must'nt waste it all in my hotel room so i started out around the city, and i think i walked the entire thing, its nice but i didnt see a whole lot of younger people, there were a lot of those middle american business people and i guess i was hoping to find this great hub of interesting people.
but i just got back to my room and it is 12 20 here and let it be known that my black leather flats are not meant for walking such great distances, my feet are black from the leather and i have a few lovely blisters, i am dreading the moment when i will have to put them back on for my campus visit at two.
but for now im taking a breather, ordered some tea and a sandwich and then after that is finished i will run and get a cab to DU. im really excited to see the school, how tight would it be to go to school somewhere with ski resorts all around you, i just love the fact that it is in the middle of all these mountains, and the air is so pure and almost sweet

i think i would spend a lot of time in boulder if i lived here
