Mid-week update

Been kind of a weird weekend/week ... this is the first chance I've had to update.

Landscaping continues to progress.  I've started putting perenials in the front garden, or at least buying them and putting them in their pots in the correct location in the front garden.  I hate digging big holes.  I still have to sink my two Columbine, and the bubble tree I got from Mark for my bday/Mother's Day gift.  But I'm done swiping rocks from the cemetary - everything that I'm bordering is done, and I even had some extra flat rocks to extend into a small patio in front of Justin's garden.  Did some weeding yesterday, and hoping to sink the pond sometime this week so I can put the retaining wall and annual garden in over the weekend.

Had my first "real" PT session yesterday.  Not the most comfortable thing I've done, but did better than I thought I would considering how I felt on Sunday (more on that later).  And I got some nice new stretching excercises to torture the guard kids with in the fall.  Hehehe   The knee hurts today, but I'll do my home excercises and ice it after I'm done posting here.

Sunday was Mother's day ... not the best of days for me.  Woke up in a MAJOR flare, which put me into a MAJOR funk.  Ended up blowing off church.  Mark and the rest of the family went to the local flea market and Rescue Mission, looking for bargains.  I sat home eating tortilla chips and feeling sorry for myself.  Got pretty pissed when they were out until 5, but found out later they were trying to give me some space so that I could sleep and rest up from the flare.  When I got that through my thick skull I was fine.

Speaking of thick skulls, the brain MRI on Saturday went fine.  They even gave me a CD Rom with pictures of my brain.  Yes, we now have proof I have one.

Saturday was also Rae's christening.  I'll post a backdated entry with pictures soon.  It went well, and she looked beautiful.

That's it in a nutshell - off to do morning chores and excercises now.  Blech
