Sometimes, I hate being a girl
I get so confused and irritated with fashion. I'd like to look good and not like I stepped out of the 80's or 90's, but the standards keep changing so fast and I really REALLY hate buying crap over and over.
So I guess the big deal for shoes now is either painfully flat sandals or equally-painful-but-in-a-different-way sky-high wedges. I like a bit of sole to my sandals/shoes. Platform-ish sandals are just my thing, a slight 20-degree incline on the heel would be prime. But apparently, that makes me ugly?!?!
Yeah, I hate being a girl and being struck once in awhile with self-consciousness. Especially when I'm freshly unemployed and easily distracted by pure crap. Goes to show I should put my head down and just draw. The world is weird.
