Does anyone even care?
I haven't posted in a long LONG time... not that things haven't been going on, I just haven't been in the mood to write lately.
The recent past:
threw a kick ass party for my wife's 50th birthday. About 100 guests. Everyone seemed to have a good time. she got lots of cool presents. lots of scratch off's. Only hit on one. *take a lesson there, folks!
Working in Hartford as a consultant. Project was supposed to end in June but the customer loves me! They are going to keep me on as long as they can. Hopefully it will turn into a perm position.
My baby girl has been home for the entire summer. No taking off to be with a jerk of a boyfriend. She's an entirely different person. Luki got her a job at the day care and she is doing really well at it. She'll make a great teacher someday! I have been loving life since she has been home. I have someone to do things with now!
Mom is getting worse but will not talk to me or meet with me. I've given up trying with her. I said my good byes years ago when all the BS started. Not gonna put myself thru all that again. I feel bad for Mysti though. She see's mom and has to go through it alone because of the lack of relationship I have with mom. I am there for her when she comes home, but it's hard...for both of us.
My Kia is doing great. Needs some work, but nothing that is terrible. Just terribley expensive. In due time. Love driving around with out the top on. If I can't have a Jeep or a "real" convertible, this will do.
Sex life still boring as all hell. Oh well - can't have everything, I guess.
Can't wait to go to NYRF!!! I'm gonna squeeze it in on Sept 8. Need a fix so bad. Refused to go to SCRF... so pissed about the whole pirate thing. Won't give them any more of my money.
Got an ego boost the other day. A truck driver flirted up a storm with me all the way to work. He was very sad and pouty when I got off the exit. Sorry buddy! Maybe in another life?
Luki has already booked an ocean front room for my bday in Oct. Looking forward to that. Since it won’t be a romantic, sexual getaway (it never is) I invited all kinds of people to join us for the weekend.
So - that’s about it. A years worth of boring update…
Maybe I’ll start posting again…even if only for my own peace of mind.
