Creativity
Science is the Destroyer of Dreams,
the Barricade around Originality.
A person has no Soul without Ignorance,
to inform is to Disarm one of their Imagination.
Knowledge
Science is the Creator of Life,
the Shield around Reason.
A person has no Purpose without Fact,
to inform is to Equip one with Intelligence.
This was in my highschool's 2006 anthology. I dug it out to look at the cover, which I drew, of a place I visited once in a dream. A three-tiered grey stone fountain surrounded by ferns and blue flowers. A strangely strong memory for a dream.
As a side note, the page that poem was on had a silly little doodle of Axel above the page number, in Aurora's style, and the next page had the "OMG Riku" we both used to draw on our math homework. A very disturbed-looking chibi.
