yay for warm weather!
I got home from Cali early yesterday mornin'...man am I tired! Flight left at about 11:15pm (pacific time) and landed at like 4:30am (central time). I hardly got any sleep on the flight. Had a lot on my mind. So when I finally got to my house I crashed until about 1 in the afternoon. Then I had rehearsal for Seussical from 4:30 - 6 so I did that. Then I went home and pretty much slept some more after doing some history homework (which sucks).
California was a ton of fun! Weather was kinda cold for southern California (about 65-70ish), but much better than here! Oh, we rented a convertable! Yeah, we were such tourists. We had the top down whenever we could. Like all the people that actually live there and have a convertable of course had their top up because, to them, that temperature is pretty cold. Every once in a while we saw another car with its top down...must've been tourists too! LoL!
It was so great to see Dustin again! We picked him up at Camp Pendleton Friday night and droped him off Monday early evening. We hadn't seen each other for about a month, but it wasn't a problem picking up right where we left off. I was a tad bit worried about that because when Shu and I went to see him graduate in August, it was awkward to talk at first. But our relationship is more defined now, so I guess that has something to do with that, huh?
He'll be home in another month. I'm so excited and can't hardly wait!
Oh, my best friend from grade school's birthday was Saturday and we texted a bit. We haven't seen each other for over a year (she moved before 5th grade) and haven't talked a lot. I'm terrible with that, keeping in touch with people. But she's going to be in Cherry Valley this weekend so hopefully we'll get to meet up. And now Jenna's gonna be home so maybe they can meet each other!
So something's been irritating me for a while now....high school. I've always tried my best to enjoy it, but it just seems nearly impossible now. I seriously am starting to really dislike it. I like band, acappella, and choraliers, but the rest of my classes are just...well, I don't know how to put it. A lot of the people are just annoying the heck out of me. I do have a few friends that I talk to, but not like I did last year. The maturity level (or lack there of) is just driving me up the wall! I feel like I've been really irritable lately and I don't like it.
That's it for now. I should go do my make up work that I missed. A bundle full of joy right there! Not.
