More Family and More Fair

Well the fair ended yesterday.  There goes all my fun!  No, just kidding.  But I do love the fair.  My brother's still here...cleaning up his stuff and then he'll be leaving tonight.

When I was at the fair I got to hold Scot and Shana's baby, Macy.  She's so tiny!  She's the size of a 3 month old and she'll be a year old tomorrow!  She was about 2 1/2 months early when she was born.  But she's such a doll!  And she loves music!  She gets this big smile whenever she hears it!  So adorable!

I also saw the Yakey part of our family.  My mom had a sister who died from cancer about 19 years ago.  But we still keep in touch with her husband and kids and his new wife (who lost her husband from cancer, as well).  Jason, Jamie, and Jennifer were there too (my cousins).  Jason and his wife, Joanne, have a baby girl, Jalyn.  She has the biggest blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair...always accompanied by a huge smile!  And Jamie's two year old daughter, Taylor...cutie!   Big brown eye and light blonde hair...my mom says she reminds her of me when I was little.  It was good to see Jennifer too.  When I was about 4 or 5, she would come up to our house and stay for weeks at a time and bake with my mom.  Jamie and Jennifer look more and more alike every time we see them.  And more like their mother, I'm told.  My mom really misses her sister.  She says I remind her of Linda, which is such an honor...she seems like she was the greatest person...can't wait to meet her someday in Heaven.

Ok, now that I've bored y'all to sleep with my family history...I am now officially done with poms!  I called my coach Friday to let her know.  I had been trying to call her before, but could never get a hold of her.  Anyway, when I talked to her, I'm like, "I've thought about it a lot and I've decided to quit."   Her response?  "Oh, okay."  What?!?  Isn't that the part where she's supposed to be like, "I'm sorry to hear that," or "May I ask why?"  Oh no, not this coach.  She never really liked me to begin with.  Whatever.  It just makes me even more happy that I quit, knowing that I obviously meant nothing to the squad anyways.

I start school next week... :'(  I don't wanna!  Yeah, at times summer was snooze-ville, but it's better than school!  Getting up early, going to class, and homework...oh, the horror!  LoL!  No, it's not that bad...I'm just going to miss all of you who graduated!  But now it's my turn to be the upperclassman in that school!  Oh, yeah!

Well, that's it.  I'll see y'all later!
