In 100 years you'd think something big would be going on, but the world is just a playground for all who have somehow managed to survive. We're all insane, but it's actually quite alright, because scientists have discovered that medicine did nothing for the mentally ill, it just promoted laziness and dependence. Everyone is crazy, and that's the truth, or at least that's what we've come to believe. There aren't many doctors to tell people how to feel anymore, because all the universities have been burned in the riots. People got angry because they couldn't afford education, and the ones who could just wanted to play along because they didn't feel like going through the work anyway. In one hundred years education is what you make it, and everything is do it yourself, or die yourself.

Adel owned a safe house of sorts. Safety in 100 years depends on how big your guns are. Adel didn't have any guns, but she did have trust in her group of friends, and there was a certain feeling of safety in numbers. They were fed, they had fun (depending on how you would define that), and they had dreams of grandeur. In a hundred years it's hard to make your dreams come true, but this is a story of how Adel tried harder than anyone else.
